Mindfulness

Mindfulness is being in the present moment, being able to gain awareness and acceptance of one's feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. By practicing mindfulness one can improve one's mental health, worries are decreased and happiness is more readily accessible.

I have been running mindfulness workshops within schools and workshops for teenagers and adults. In these workshops we look at the habits of the mind, thoughts of the past or future which bring a feeling of anxiety, low mood or agitation to the mind. The you learn techniques to help to bring the mind to the present. I use different techniques and practices to help each individual and how to introduce these into your daily life.
